Matthew Barnes principally leads our strategy and corporate responsibility engagements. Michael Inganamort leads communications and public policy-related efforts.
Matthew leads strategic planning and oversees impact assessments for our client engagements. Well-versed in best practices around philanthropy and executive positioning, and a proven dot-connecter, Matthew's counsel is holistic and highly attuned to client needs. His comments and analysis on strategic philanthropy and executive positioning have appeared in the New York Times, Forbes, Campaign & Elections, Philanthropie Aktuel (Switzerland) and Radar. Matthew studied African-American Studies and Politics at Purdue University, and earned his masters in sustainable development at the University of Cambridge (UK), where his dissertation focused on the role of the extractive industry in driving social development in conflict contexts.
Michael leads the firm's issue advocacy and thought leadership engagements, drawing on his experience in and out of government in Washington, DC and New Jersey. He’s managed a statewide coalition of hospitals to defeat a proposed tax, coordinated messaging for a national foundation targeting family homelessness, and corralled private and public support on tough issues like human trafficking and the opioid epidemic. He makes sure that our clients' messages are consistently and deliberately reaching their target audiences. Mike also oversees our partnerships with subcontractors in the areas of policy development, coalition building, and grassroots support. He graduated magna cum laude from American University and holds a masters from Georgetown.
LUCAS TARQUINO, M.D., M.P.H.
Lucas helps lead ASG’s client evaluation assignments with deep-dive research and analytical rigor across disciplines. Skilled at data collection and synthesis, Lucas designs evaluation programs and the instruments used to execute on them. Comfortable with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, he often intertwines the two and develops compelling summaries and data visualizations, such as dashboards and scorecards, to drive decision making. Lucas holds an MD and MPH from Rutgers University (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey).
Jonathan aligns grantmaking plans and holistic CSR campaigns with an organization's broader strategic priorities, helping deepen internal focus and long-term brand equity. A former corporate executive and advisors to public figures in and out of government, he is a co-founder of BlastRoots.com, the free grassroots lobbying platform for citizen activists. Jonathan serves on the boards of the Hearts for Honduras Foundation and Verse Theater Manhattan. He holds a private pilot certificate, Red Cross First Aid/AED certification through 2015, and a B.A. from Harvard University.
Sean Dikdan, M.P.H.
Sean provides in-depth research and data analysis support for ASG client efforts. A fourth year medical student with interests in internal medicine, clinical cardiology, global public health and health policy, Sean serves on the advisory board of Saha Global, a nonprofit organization that creates sustainable water businesses in resource-limited areas. Sean brings a strong background in data analytics, epidemiologic methodology, and statistical analysis. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles in journals such as The American Journal of Emergency Medicine and Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology. He has deep experience managing quantitative and qualitative data and specializes in survey research methods. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a degree in biology and holds an MPH from Rutgers School of Public Health where he concentrated in Epidemiology and Urban Health Administration.
