ASG FELLOWS

Making a lasting impact in philanthropy requires a keen understanding of the root causes of problems and an intimate knowledge of best practices.

Because it is impossible for the partners and staff of ASG to be experts in every field, we have built and formally contracted with a team of “fellows” — subject area experts whose knowledge and counsel we rely on for in depth understanding of issues and challenges faced in a variety of global societal need categories.

The fellows are people on the front lines of the social sector, often as nonprofit / NGO leaders, so they have a good sense of what really works versus what sounds good.

We pride ourselves on offering our clients informed and dispassionate advice. Our fellows help us achieve that in many of our client engagements.

David Milestone leads the ASG fellows program and serves as a senior health fellow. In this capacity, our clients look to David for strategic planning, evaluation design and data analysis and interpretation, particularly in the health space. David concentrated on health policy and management at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern) and biomechanics at the Stanford University. David also serves in a senior emerging market strategy role at Stryker and was former volunteer consultant to Technoserve’s entrepreneurship program in Swaziland.
